Deborah Waring is a certified Integral Yoga™
teacher for children and adults. Integral Yoga™ is a Hatha Yoga that is gentle, non-competitive, and a powerful approach to achieving mental and physical health throughout the body. Integral Yoga™ is the same Yoga practice that is used by Dr Dean Ornish in his Reversing Heart Disease Programs and his new Colon Cancer Program; Dr Michael Lerner’s Commonweal Cancer Help Program, and Dr. Mehmet Oz. Deborah trained in Yoga for Cancer Patients and Chronic Illness with Jnani Chapman, who has worked with both Dr Dean Ornish and Mr Michael Lerner for many years. British born, Deborah has been surrounded by, or has been doing Yoga of various traditions for many years. Deborah has a BS in Social Work with an emphasis in psychology from SUNY. She has worked with people with dementia, AIDS and victims of domestic violence. As a Yoga therapist, Deborah has taught people from 3 years old to 88 years young how to focus, sleep, and relieve physical or mental discomfort or illness This has also included, but is not limited to, allergies; back pain, ADHD, Cancer, high blood pressure, diabetes, dementia and arthritis. |
